Agentic Academy Review 2026: Is Simon Scrapes’ AI Automation Community Worth It?

Simon Scrapes and Martin Boeddeker Agentic Academy review on findfocus.net.

If you’ve been on YouTube in the last 12 months trying to learn how to actually build AI automations — not just prompt ChatGPT, but stitch together agents, Claude Code projects, and n8n workflows into something that runs your business — you’ve almost certainly hit Simon Scrapes’ channel. The bald guy. The British accent. The “100-minute Ultimate AI Automation Course.” The Claude Code deep dives. The n8n tutorials that actually work in production.

And if you’ve watched more than a few of his videos, you’ve heard him point at his Skool community: Agentic Academy.

So here’s the question every serious viewer eventually asks: Is the paid community actually worth the money — or is the free YouTube content already enough?

I went looking for a real answer. I joined Agentic Academy as a paying VIP member. I built my own version of the Agentic Operating System (Simon’s flagship plug-and-play system) using what I learned inside. And then I sat down with Simon Coton on camera for a 30-minute recorded interview where I pushed him on the questions I’d been answering for myself — pricing, who it’s actually for, how it compares to other top AI Skool communities, what’s coming next, and where most members get stuck.

This review is the result of both. I’ll quote Simon directly throughout — those quotes are pulled from our recorded conversation, not from the sales page — so you get the founder’s own framing alongside what I actually experienced as a member.

For context on where I’m coming from: I’m the founder of the author of Clarity on Demand, and I’ve spent the last several years building systems that combine AI with personal productivity and business automation. I have strong opinions about what good AI infrastructure looks like. I’m not the audience that needs convincing AI matters — I’m the audience that needs to know whether this specific community delivers something I can’t get from free tutorials.

This review covers what Agentic Academy actually is in 2026, what’s inside each of the three tiers, the perks most reviewers completely miss (the free GoHighLevel account alone is a $1,164/year value), Simon’s on-record commitment on pricing and refunds, the member story he told me that made me update my recommendation, and whether it’s worth it for your situation.

Agentic Academy Summary

Agentic Academy is Simon Coton’s paid Skool community for non-developers who want to build agentic AI systems with Claude Code + n8n — the same stack Simon uses to automate content, outreach, ops, and admin across his own businesses. The 2026 version is structured as three tiers ($37/mo Standard, $77/mo Premium, $647/yr VIP), each delivering progressively more templates, courses, and access. For entrepreneurs and operators who want to build AI systems rather than just use AI tools, I highly recommend it — particularly the VIP tier, which is the best value once you factor in the included GoHighLevel account, exclusive workflows, and 1-on-1 planning call with Simon.

Why Should I Trust Your Agentic Academy Review?

Most reviews of Agentic Academy you’ll find online were written by people who watched two of Simon’s YouTube videos, glanced at the Skool sales page, and slapped a 4-star rating on it for affiliate commission. This isn’t one of those.

I’ve been inside Agentic Academy as a paying VIP member for months. I’ve worked through the Agentic Masterclass, built my own Agentic OS based on what’s taught inside, and used the Resource Hub templates as starting points for systems I now run in my own business. I’ve also been on the receiving end of the same-day tech support — and it actually works the way Simon promises.

Then I went one step further: I recorded a full ~30-minute interview with Simon where I pushed him on the questions buyers actually have. Pricing trajectory. Who the program is for and who should skip it. How Agentic Academy compares to other top AI Skool communities (we specifically discussed Julian Goldie’s). What’s coming next. Where most members get stuck. The quotes you’ll see throughout this review are pulled directly from that conversation.

For context on where I’m coming from: I’m the founder of FindFocus, the author of Clarity on Demand, and I’ve spent the last several years building systems that combine AI with personal productivity and business automation. I have my own strong opinions about what good AI infrastructure looks like. So when I tell you Simon’s training is the fastest path I’ve found from “knowing nothing about Claude Code” to “shipping working agentic systems” — that’s not affiliate-speak. That’s a comparison to YouTube, paid courses, and my own trial-and-error.

[IMAGE: Agentic Academy classroom screenshot or Martin’s Agentic OS build]

If you’ve read older Agentic Academy reviews and noticed they describe a single $37/month tier with a planned jump to $87 — those reviews are out of date. The 2026 version has three tiers, the pricing structure changed, and there are perks (GoHighLevel access, VIP workflows, 1-on-1 with Simon) that almost no reviewer mentions. This review covers what the program actually is now.

What Is Agentic Academy?

At its core, Agentic Academy is a community-driven AI automation school built around two tools: Claude Code and n8n.

Not a course. Not a prompt pack. Not a YouTube channel with a paywall on top. Simon’s framing on the sales page is direct: “Skip the 2-year learning curve — build agentic systems that actually run your business, today.”

The mechanic: a structured set of courses, templates, and a private Skool community where you learn to build automated systems that handle the high-repetition, low-strategy work in your business — content, outreach, lead generation, document processing, internal ops — so you can focus on the high-strategy work that actually moves the needle.

When I asked Simon in our interview what the core philosophy was — what makes Agentic Academy different from the dozen other AI automation Skool communities popping up on YouTube — he had a clear answer:

“We focus on that Pareto principle. This is the core content that you need to know. We distill all the noise from the thousands of YouTube videos every single day into a curriculum that you can follow.”

That’s the unlock. There are 200 to 1,000 videos a day published on Claude Code alone right now. Most operators don’t have the bandwidth to filter that signal-to-noise ratio. Agentic Academy does the filtering for you.

The 2026 classroom is organized into six modules:

  1. Start Here — orientation
  2. Agentic Masterclass — the 80/20 of building agentic systems (12+ hours)
  3. Agentic Operating System — Simon’s flagship plug-and-play system (Premium tier)
  4. Agency Launchpad — pricing, proposals, and blueprints for selling agentic systems to clients
  5. Resource Hub — copy-paste templates, replays, member perks
  6. VIP Members — exclusive workflows and benefits (annual subscription)

[IMAGE: Classroom dashboard screenshot — six module tiles]

👉 See the full Agentic Academy classroom →

Underneath the modules sits a serious operational philosophy. Three principles Simon hammers in his content and confirmed in our interview:

  • Automate the repetitive, keep humans in charge of strategy. Rules out “AI does everything” fantasy.
  • Systems over prompts. Build persistent, multi-file knowledge bases instead of treating Claude as a stateless prompt box.
  • Human-in-the-loop by default. The antidote to “AI slop.” AI generates options, humans review and approve, then the system executes.

These principles aren’t pulled from thin air. Simon built them through years in operations engineering — most recently as head of operations at UK meal-kit startup Dishpatch (acquired by Waitrose) — and applying the same operational discipline to his own business.

The Three Agentic Academy Tiers Explained

The 2026 offer is structured as three tiers. Each tier is additive — Premium includes everything in Standard, VIP includes everything in Premium.

[IMAGE: Three-column tier comparison — Standard / Premium / VIP with features side-by-side]

Tier 1: Standard — $37/month

The promise: Get inside, learn the fundamentals, ship your first working systems.

What’s included:

  • Community access (1,300+ members)
  • Community support
  • Agentic Masterclass course (12+ hours)
  • Same-day tech support
  • Access to the Resource Hub of templates and replays

Best for: Anyone who wants to learn Claude Code and n8n properly with a community to ask questions in. If you’re a serious YouTube viewer of Simon’s content who keeps thinking “I should just join the community,” this is the tier that gets you there. The same-day tech support alone is the unlock — you stop getting stuck on stupid configuration issues for hours.

👉 Join Standard ($37/mo) →

Tier 2: Premium — $77/month

The promise: Get the Agentic OS, the agency course, and a 40+ template library.

What’s included: Everything in Standard, PLUS:

  • Your own Agentic OS — plug-and-play system you install
  • 40+ copy-paste systems & skills — production-ready workflows
  • Launch an AI Agency Course (8+ hours)
  • Price locked for life if you join before the next member-threshold increase

Best for: Operators who actually want to deploy the Agentic OS in their own business or use it as a template for their own version (which is what I did). Also the right tier if you’re seriously considering building or scaling an AI automation agency — the Launch an AI Agency course on top of the Agency Launchpad module gives you a near-complete playbook.

👉 Join Premium ($77/mo) →

Tier 3: VIP — $647/year ★ (Best value)

The promise: Everything in Premium, plus VIP-exclusive workflows, GoHighLevel, and a 1-on-1 with Simon.

What’s included: Everything in Standard AND Premium, PLUS:

  • 30% cheaper than Premium monthly ($647/yr = $53.92/mo equivalent — saves $277/yr)
  • 3 VIP-exclusive workflows (each worth $500+):
    • n8n version control system (normally locked behind n8n’s Business plan)
    • LinkedIn outreach automation (lead search, connection requests, personalized DMs, hot lead tagging)
    • Social content pipeline (idea → published, with images, infographics, branded carousels)
  • More VIP workflows shipping regularly (and exclusive Claude Code Skills coming)
  • Free GoHighLevel account ($97/mo / $1,164/yr value) — paid members only
  • 30-minute 1-on-1 planning call with Simon — personal automation roadmap
  • Full access to all courses

Best for: Anyone who’s serious about this. Full stop.

The math on VIP is the clearest tier decision in the whole offer. At $647/year, VIP costs you the equivalent of $53.92/month — less than Premium’s $77/mo. You’re paying a year up front, but you’re saving $277 across the year compared to monthly Premium. And you’re getting workflows worth $500+ each, a free GoHighLevel account that would otherwise cost $1,164/year, and a 1-on-1 with Simon.

The included GoHighLevel account alone is worth more than the entire VIP membership. Most reviewers don’t catch this. The math is in the next section.

👉 Join VIP ($647/yr) →

My Recommendation — Which Tier Should You Buy?

Simple framework:

  • Test the waters and learn the fundamentals — go Standard ($37/mo). You can always upgrade later. The community access and tech support alone are worth it for serious learners.
  • Want the Agentic OS or considering an AI agency — go Premium ($77/mo). This is the tier that gives you the actual production system to install and the agency course to monetize what you build.
  • Can commit to a year for maximum value — go VIP ($647/yr). The GoHighLevel access alone justifies the price. The VIP workflows, exclusive Skills, and 1-on-1 with Simon are bonuses on top of an already underpriced package.

Honest caveat: VIP requires an annual commitment up front. If $647 in one go is a stretch, start with Standard or Premium and upgrade when you’re ready. There’s no point taking a budget hit just to chase the best deal — the cheaper tiers still deliver real value.

The GoHighLevel Perk Explained — Why VIP Pays for Itself

This is the part of the offer that almost every reviewer misses. It’s the single biggest reason VIP is the right tier for serious operators, so it gets its own section.

Here’s the deal: Continuing paid members of Agentic Academy get free access to a GoHighLevel (GHL) account — the all-in-one business automation platform that normally costs $97/month (or $1,164/year) on a direct subscription.

GoHighLevel replaces a stack of tools most operators end up cobbling together: CRM, email + SMS marketing, website + landing page builder, automation workflows, appointment scheduling, surveys and forms, analytics. If you’ve ever priced out replacing those individually, you know it adds up — easily $1,600+/month for comparable functionality across separate vendors.

The Math, Worked Out

Let’s say you join VIP at $647/year. GoHighLevel direct: $97/month × 12 = $1,164/year.

You’re effectively getting Agentic Academy VIP at -$517/year. The GoHighLevel access alone covers the entire VIP membership and then puts $517 back in your pocket compared to subscribing to GHL directly.

That’s before you factor in:

  • The Agentic OS (Premium-tier deliverable, worth more than the entire membership on its own)
  • Three VIP-exclusive workflows worth $500+ each ($1,500+ total)
  • 12+ hours of Agentic Masterclass
  • 8+ hours of the Launch an AI Agency course
  • 1-on-1 planning call with Simon
  • Same-day tech support
  • Community access

Add it up honestly and VIP isn’t a $647 purchase. It’s a $4,000+ value bundle with $647 on the price tag.

When the GoHighLevel Perk Doesn’t Help You

Honest caveat: the GHL access only matters if you’d actually use GoHighLevel. If you’re already locked into a different stack (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, ConvertKit, ClickFunnels) with no plan to migrate, the GHL bonus is worth less to you. In that case, the value of VIP shifts to the workflows, the courses, and the 1-on-1 with Simon — still strong, but the math becomes “is the rest worth $647?” rather than “the GHL alone justifies it.”

For most operators without a deeply embedded existing stack — which is most of Simon’s audience — GoHighLevel is genuinely useful and the perk is real money saved.

Who Created Agentic Academy?

Agentic Academy was created by Simon Coton — better known online as Simon Scrapes. The “Scrapes” handle came from his earlier focus on web scraping and lead generation systems before he pivoted to the broader agentic AI space.

[IMAGE: Simon Coton headshot / YouTube channel header]

Simon’s path to building Agentic Academy is genuinely unusual, and it’s worth understanding because it tells you how the program is built. He walked me through it in our interview.

He studied mechanical engineering at university — “nothing particularly technical, but quite maths and physics heavy,” as he put it. That gave him a logical, problem-solving mindset rather than a coding-from-day-one mindset. After graduating, he spent years in operations roles, mostly non-technical, eventually landing as head of operations at Dishpatch — a UK meal-kit startup later acquired by Waitrose. The Automake.io copy describes him as someone who has “automated 10+ businesses and scaled a startup to £6m revenue.”

What’s important is what came next. Simon decided to dig deeper into automation, looked at whether he should learn to code, and made a brutally honest call:

“I’m not particularly good [as a] dev or coder at all. It was very, very slow and painful, and it led me to faster ways to code. Hence I fell into n8n, which is a brilliant tool, very visual. And now Claude Code is starting to overtake it in terms of the ease of use.”

That admission matters. Simon isn’t a developer pretending to be a teacher. He’s an operations leader who found a path to building production-grade systems without becoming a developer — which is exactly the path his audience needs.

How Agentic Academy Actually Got Started

Simon launched the YouTube channel in December 2024, originally as a way to acquire AI automation consulting clients. He was servicing clients globally through Upwork and saw others in the space producing content that grew their audiences fast. So he started filming.

What he noticed in that first year on YouTube were two distinct camps forming in AI automation: one camp doing flashy demos that didn’t work in production, and a smaller camp building production-grade automations that actually held up day-to-day. He picked the latter — and that’s the philosophy that became Agentic Academy.

The community itself was built validation-first. From the interview:

“I had a framework of a course, an n8n course at the time. I put it out there, got a couple of people in the group for free just to validate the ideas, started building out that course, and then eventually that helped create the content. So I was basically using the user validation to create the course content. It was demand-led planning.”

That’s why the curriculum is opinionated and tight rather than sprawling. It was built on what members actually wanted, not what Simon assumed they’d want. Simon’s takeaway from that build process — and a quote that captures the whole Agentic Academy philosophy:

“When you start these things out, you think people want more and more content. But as I’ve learned over time, it’s actually less content that’s more focused where we sit and where we think the important value is for people.”

Who Is Agentic Academy For?

You know your situation better than I do. Let me be direct about who benefits most — and who should skip it.

When I asked Simon in our interview who his ideal customer was, he named two distinct personas:

“The first is that time-poor business owner that wants the shortcut head-start. They know this stuff can add value to their business but they don’t necessarily know the path on how to get there. And we’ve got a second persona where actually they come from a background like myself and wanted to start an automation agency and sell this to other businesses.”

That maps cleanly onto how the tiers are structured. Premium and VIP serve operators who want the production system; Standard serves learners who want fundamentals first.

Agentic Academy is ideal for:

  1. Solopreneurs & Small Business Owners. Spending hours every week on repetitive work — content, outreach, lead follow-up, internal admin? Agentic Academy gives you the systems and training to automate it with Claude Code + n8n. You stop being the bottleneck. Recommended tier: Premium or VIP.
  2. Aspiring AI Automation Agency Owners. One of Simon’s clearest target audiences. The Agency Launchpad module + Launch an AI Agency course (Premium) + GoHighLevel access (VIP) is a near-complete playbook for building a service business selling AI automation. Recommended tier: Premium minimum, VIP if serious.
  3. Marketers and Content Operators. The social content pipeline (a VIP exclusive) alone can change how your week looks. The LinkedIn outreach automation is genuinely useful for B2B operators. Recommended tier: VIP.
  4. Engineers and Developers Curious About Agentic Systems. You’ll move through the foundational material faster than non-technical members, but the Claude Code course and the agentic architecture content are worth the price even if you skip the basics. The community is a useful place to compare notes with builders deep in the same stack. Recommended tier: Standard or Premium.
  5. Operators Who Want to Learn Claude Code Properly. This is what brought me in. If you’ve been hacking around with Claude Code from YouTube tutorials but want to actually understand what you’re doing, Simon’s training is the fastest path I’ve found. Recommended tier: Standard works for this; Premium if you also want the Agentic OS as a reference build.

Who Should Skip This Program

Simon was equally direct about who shouldn’t join:

“Probably somebody that wants to keep up with every single update in the space. We’re not focused on every update. We’re trying to distill only the important updates and keep the content minimal. If you want 20 hours of contact time every week, then this probably isn’t for you.”

Beyond that:

  • You want a turnkey “AI does everything” tool. This isn’t it. You’re learning to build systems.
  • You refuse to pay for a Claude subscription. Claude Pro at $20/month is the minimum stack.
  • You want a live cohort with weekly group calls. The community is active but asynchronous.
  • You have zero technical curiosity. You don’t need to be a developer, but you do need to be willing to look at a workflow diagram and not panic.

What Software Do You Need to Run Agentic Academy Systems?

Most reviewers skip this question, and it creates “wait, I have to pay for what?” moments after joining. So let me be upfront.

Required for all tiers:

  • Claude Pro — $20/month from Anthropic (minimum). The 2026 Agentic Academy curriculum is built around Claude Code as the AI engine. Claude Max ($100/mo or $200/mo) is recommended if you want to run heavier agentic workflows at speed, but it’s optional for the foundational material.
  • n8n — free if you self-host, ~$20/month for n8n Cloud (entry plan). Most members start with the cloud version because it’s faster to get going. You can move to self-hosted later if you want full control.

Included in paid membership (no extra cost):

  • GoHighLevel — normally $97/month, included free for continuing paid members.

On technical skills: Simon was clear in our interview that the program is built for non-developers. If you can follow step-by-step directions, copy-paste configuration, and tolerate some terminal use, you can get the systems running. The Claude Code Setup Guide handles the basics, and same-day tech support catches the inevitable “why isn’t this working” moments.

If that list made you nervous: start at the Standard tier ($37/mo). The community and tech support are specifically there to help non-technical members get past the setup hump. You can always upgrade once you’re comfortable.

Martin’s Agentic Academy Walkthrough (Coming Soon)

I’m recording a walkthrough video that shows what’s actually inside the members area — the classroom modules, the Resource Hub, the VIP workflows in action, and a tour of my own Agentic OS build (which started as Simon’s Premium-tier system and evolved from there). I’ll embed it here once it’s live.

In the meantime, the best free preview is Simon’s Ultimate AI Automation Course (100 Minutes) on YouTube. Same teaching style and pace you’ll experience inside the Academy.

What Benefits Does Agentic Academy Provide?

I’ll admit: when I first heard about another “AI automation community,” I was skeptical. I’d been deep in AI-for-business work for years. I had my own systems. I figured, “Probably another rehash of the same n8n tutorials with a paywall.”

I was wrong about that.

Once I got inside and started working through the Agentic Masterclass, what stood out was the quality of the teaching — not just the templates. Simon has a rare ability to make Claude Code make sense to non-developers. He compresses concepts that would take weeks of trial-and-error on YouTube into focused, “now you understand it” sessions. That’s the unlock.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • 🧠 The Fastest Path to Claude Code Competence. This is the single biggest benefit for me. Simon’s Claude Code training compressed what would have been months of YouTube + trial-and-error into a few weeks of structured learning. The cost of that time saved alone justifies the entire membership.
  • ⚙️ Working Systems, Not Just Concepts. Every module produces something that runs — an automation, a content pipeline, an outreach system, a document processor. You don’t end up with notes you’ll never read.
  • 🛠️ Production-Ready Templates. The 40+ copy-paste systems (Premium and VIP tiers) are not toy demos. They’re systems Simon and his team actually use. You can deploy them as-is or fork them as starting points for your own builds.
  • 🤝 High-Signal Community. 1,300+ members, mostly serious operators, mostly building real things. One of the better technical communities I’ve been in — less hype, more “here’s what I built and here’s where I’m stuck.” Same-day tech support is a separate channel and it works.
  • 🚀 The Agentic OS (Premium+). Simon’s flagship plug-and-play system, and the Premium-tier deliverable that completely justifies the upgrade. From the interview: “It’s a one-stop shop for all of your context management.” The insight encoded in the OS is that beginners hit two failure modes — give Claude no context (generic output) or way too much context (which dilutes its reasoning and produces poor quality output). The Agentic OS sits in the middle, organizing your business context into folders and standard operating procedures (called Skills) that get injected at the right time. Memory systems are built in. I built my own version using this as the scaffold and it cut my build time by an order of magnitude compared to starting from scratch.
  • 🧭 Three Tested Planning Frameworks (Chat / PRD / GSD). A piece of the curriculum that doesn’t get talked about enough. Simon teaches three planning frameworks for different project types: lightweight conversational tasks (Chat), production-grade development with a Product Requirements Doc (PRD), and the heavyweight Get Stuff Done framework for full apps. His position: there are hundreds of frameworks out there, but these three cover the 80/20. You learn which one to pick for which task instead of going “with a knife to a gunfight.”
  • 💰 Free GoHighLevel Account (paid tiers). $97/month, $1,164/year value. By itself, this perk pays for the entire VIP membership and leaves money on the table.
  • 🔄 VIP-Exclusive Workflows. n8n version control, LinkedIn outreach, social content pipeline — each worth $500+ on its own and only available to VIP members.
  • 📞 1-on-1 with Simon (VIP). A 30-minute personal planning call. For anyone serious about building automation systems in their business or as a service offer, this is rare access at this price point.
  • 📚 Agency Launchpad. If you’re considering building an AI automation agency, the pricing, proposals, and sales playbooks are an actual playbook — not generic “how to start an agency” advice.

It’s not just about saving time on automation work (though you absolutely will). It’s about fundamentally changing how you operate — moving from “I do everything manually” to “I build systems that do the work for me, with humans in the loop where it matters.”

Agentic Academy Pricing — How Much Does It Cost?

Agentic Academy is offered in three tiers:

  • Standard$37/month — Community + Agentic Masterclass (12hrs)
  • Premium$77/month — Standard + Agentic OS + 40+ systems + Launch an AI Agency course (price increasing as community grows)
  • VIP$647/year — Premium + 3 exclusive workflows + free GoHighLevel + 1-on-1 with Simon (30% cheaper than Premium monthly)

Why Are Prices Going Up — and Why Joining Now Matters

This came up directly in our interview. Simon was unambiguous about it:

“Our systems are effectively getting more powerful and smarter over time. So the value is effectively increasing even if the amount of content stays roughly the same… We are going to eventually increase the price when we hit a certain number of members and yeah, to accommodate for the fact that we want to keep it really refined in the community and almost gatekeep the value that we’ve got inside there.”

Translation: prices go up as the community grows. Members who join at today’s pricing keep their rate for life. Members who wait pay the new higher rate. Over a 5-year membership horizon at the Premium tier, that’s potentially hundreds of dollars in compounding savings just from joining sooner rather than later. This isn’t fake scarcity — it’s a real, on-record commitment from the founder.

If you’re on the fence, this is the variable that should tip you. Locking in the current Premium rate now versus paying the new rate in 6 months is a real-money decision.

Does Agentic Academy Offer a Free Trial?

There’s no formal trial of the paid Academy, but there is a much better free preview: Agentic Foundations, Simon’s free Skool community at skool.com/scrapesai. It’s a 7-day challenge that walks you through building one working automation from scratch, with around 6,000 members. If you’re unsure whether Simon’s teaching style fits you, do the 7-day challenge first. It’s the cleanest way to test-drive without spending a dollar.

Is There an Agentic Academy Discount?

The “discount” right now is the launch pricing itself, locked in for life if you join before the next member-threshold increase. There’s no separate discount code system. VIP is structurally a 30% discount on Premium monthly because it’s billed annually and saves you $277/year.

Is There a Lifetime Deal?

No traditional lifetime deal. All tiers are subscriptions. The closest thing is locking in your current price before the next member-threshold increase.

Are There Any Subscriptions to Cancel?

If you decide it’s not for you, cancel directly inside Skool’s settings. Standard and Premium are month-to-month — no long-term commitment. VIP is annual.

Which Tier Should I Buy?

Quick framework:

  • Testing the waters — Standard ($37/mo)
  • Building seriously / want the Agentic OS — Premium ($77/mo)
  • Maximum value, can commit annually — VIP ($647/yr) — the GoHighLevel perk alone covers it

Agentic Academy User Reviews

I’ve looked at feedback on the Skool community itself, third-party review sites like Skoolmakers, and member testimonials posted on LinkedIn. The pattern is consistent.

Skoolmakers’ April 2026 review rates Agentic Academy 4.2/5 overall, with particularly high marks for value for money (4.5/5), practical copy-paste systems, and strong community engagement.

The recurring themes from member testimonials cluster around three things:

Pattern 1: “Templates I can actually use.” Members consistently praise the difference between Simon’s templates and the typical “demo-quality” systems shared in free tutorials. The templates are production-ready, well-documented, and genuinely modular.

Pattern 2: Real time savings on real workflows. Members report reclaiming 15+ hours per week after deploying systems — particularly the content workflow, the LinkedIn outreach automation, and the lead generation systems. Not speculative numbers; before/after screenshots in the community.

Pattern 3: Speed of learning Claude Code. This matched my own experience exactly. Members coming in with no developer background are shipping working Claude Code projects in weeks, not months. The community + tech support combination is a major part of why.

Featured Member Story: Ronnie’s Zero-to-Selling Journey

When I asked Simon in our interview to tell me about a member whose results genuinely surprised him, he didn’t pause. He told me about Ronnie — a smoothie shop owner with multiple businesses who joined Agentic Academy with absolutely zero technical knowledge. Simon’s words:

“Last year he couldn’t even define workflow. He barely knew what AI actually meant… within a few months Ronnie had created inside n8n a bunch of chat bots that effectively helped people out with their daily accounting and all their daily business customer comms — and was actually selling those, packaging them up and selling them to his friends, to colleagues, to other people that he knew in his business circle.”

Ronnie’s own quote, on record: “I thought I was out the game. I started from absolutely zero and now I’m literally selling these products to businesses. I never thought I would consider myself technical.”

That’s the proof point that hit hardest for me. Not because the testimonial was polished — but because it wasn’t. Ronnie isn’t a case study designed to sell the program. He’s a real member who came in with no background and is now generating revenue with what he learned. Simon’s pedagogy works on people who shouldn’t, on paper, be the ideal candidates for it.

The honest critique I’ve seen across testimonials is consistent: the learning curve is real. Several members mention needing to slow down, re-watch videos, or ask multiple questions in the community before things clicked. That’s not a bug — it’s a sign the program teaches actual skills rather than handing you a “press this button” magic box.

Agentic Academy Alternatives — How It Compares

Agentic Academy isn’t really a head-to-head competitor with most things you’ve considered. It’s a different category. But you’re going to compare it to something, so let’s do that honestly.

Agentic Academy vs. Free YouTube Tutorials

Free YouTube content (including a lot of Simon’s own) is genuinely good. If you have unlimited time, infinite patience, and the ability to stitch together a coherent learning path from scattered videos, you can get to similar capability eventually. I tried that path. I made progress, but I burned a lot of time on dead ends and “this doesn’t work the way the video showed” moments.

The Agentic Academy difference is structure + community + tech support. The structure means you stop guessing what to learn next. The community means you’re not building in isolation. The tech support means you don’t lose three hours to a configuration error that someone could have answered in two minutes.

For serious learners, the membership pays for itself in time saved within the first couple of weeks. For dabblers, free YouTube is fine — there’s no point paying for a community you won’t actually use.

Agentic Academy vs. Other Top AI Skool Communities (Julian Goldie, etc.)

The Skool ecosystem has filled up with AI automation communities over the past 12 months. Julian Goldie runs one in the SEO/AI space. Plenty of YouTube creators are running their own communities. So how do you choose?

I asked Simon this directly in our interview. His answer was disciplined:

“Two key differences. One is we focus on that Pareto principle… distill all the noise from the thousands of YouTube videos every single day into a curriculum that you can follow. And the second is actually the plug-and-play system. We’re not about flashy demos. We actually want to deliver business value.”

That maps to my own experience as a member. Many AI Skool communities lean on volume — endless content, daily live calls, “stay on the bleeding edge.” Agentic Academy leans the opposite direction: less content, more focused, higher signal-to-noise. Whether that’s the right fit depends on what you want. If you crave the firehose, look elsewhere. If you want a curated path with templates that actually run, this is structurally different.

Agentic Academy vs. Generic AI Automation Courses

There are a lot of “AI automation” courses on the market right now — pre-recorded video courses, often $497–$1,997, sold on launch promotions. Two structural differences matter:

  1. Agentic Academy is a community, not a course. You’re not buying a one-time content drop. You’re buying ongoing access to Simon, his team, the member community, and a constantly-updated library. The pre-recorded course model goes stale; this one keeps shipping.
  2. The stack is opinionated and modern. Most “AI automation” courses are still teaching ChatGPT + Zapier patterns from 2023. Agentic Academy is built around Claude Code + n8n, which is what serious operators are actually using in 2026.

Agentic Academy vs. Building a Custom Stack from Scratch

If you have an engineering background, you might be tempted to skip the community and just build everything yourself. You can absolutely do that. The question is whether the time you’d spend figuring out the patterns, debugging your own approach, and reinventing the templates is worth more or less than $37–$647 for the year.

For most people whose hourly time is worth more than $50, the Academy pays for itself within the first few weeks of saved time.

Agentic Academy vs. Clarity on Demand

Full transparency: I wrote Clarity on Demand, my own book on using AI for personal clarity and decision-making. So a brief honest comparison.

Clarity on Demand is about using AI for daily clarity, focus, and consistent execution on goals. It’s a methodology you apply with any frontier AI, focused on personal productivity and decision-making rather than business automation.

Agentic Academy is about building agentic AI systems that automate operational work. Different problem, different scope, same broader universe of “use AI well.”

Honestly: they pair extremely well. Clarity on Demand gives you the operating rhythm and decision-making layer. Agentic Academy gives you the systems that execute the work.

Agentic Academy Updates & Technology

Agentic Academy is not a frozen course. New systems and Claude Code Skills ship regularly. The Resource Hub keeps growing. The VIP workflows keep expanding.

The core technology stack the program teaches:

  • Claude Code — Anthropic’s agentic CLI for Claude. The single most-used tool in the curriculum.
  • n8n — open-source workflow automation. Self-hosted or cloud.
  • MCPs (Model Context Protocol) — for connecting Claude Code to external tools and data sources.
  • GoHighLevel — included free for paid members.

These aren’t randomly chosen — they’re the tools Simon actually uses in his consulting work at Automake.io. The Academy curriculum is essentially a productized version of the patterns and templates he’s developed across 10+ business automation engagements.

What’s Coming Next: Skill Systems (May 2026)

The biggest piece of forward-looking news from our interview: Simon’s team is shipping Skill Systems — a new product line that takes individual Skills and chains them into complete automations. The current model is that a copywriting Skill, for instance, helps you write copy — but you still have to do topic research, scheduling, and visuals manually. Skill Systems package multiple Skills into a sequential pipeline so the entire workflow runs end-to-end with a single trigger.

Simon’s exact framing in the interview:

“You have a series of skills that run sequentially — the outputs of one pass to the input of the next skill. And what that does is eradicate an entire chain of manual tasks that you would traditionally do, instead of just having these single isolated skills that still revolve around you actually chatting back and forth.”

The community voted on which Skill Systems they want first, and the May 2026 batch is built around those votes. If you’re already a member when these ship, they’re included — that’s the lifetime upgrades benefit (Premium and VIP tiers) in action.

The Future of AI Automation — Simon’s Take

I asked Simon where he thinks the AI automation space is headed in the next 12–24 months. His answer was specific and practical, not hype-y:

“It’s all about managing context well and injecting it at the right time… Everyone’s talking about memory, everyone’s talking about agentic operating systems, business operating systems, life operating systems. It’s all around this. I think that’s going to be the topic for 2026.”

Whether you join Agentic Academy or not, that’s worth knowing: context management is the through-line skill for the next 12 months in AI automation. Agentic Academy happens to be one of the most direct ways to learn it.

Frequently Asked Questions About Agentic Academy

What software do I need to run Agentic Academy systems?

Claude Pro ($20/month minimum), n8n (free if self-hosted, ~$20/month cloud), and a few optional integrations. GoHighLevel is included free at all paid tiers.

How long before I see results with Agentic Academy?

Most members ship their first working automation within the first week or two. Simon confirmed this in our interview: “We want everyone to get their win within seven days.” Bigger systems (the full Agentic OS, an end-to-end content engine, a complete LinkedIn lead gen pipeline) typically take 2–6 weeks of sustained work depending on time invested. Members reporting 15+ hours/week reclaimed are usually 1–2 months in.

Will this work even if I don’t have a lot of time?

Yes. The community is asynchronous and the courses are pre-recorded, so you can move at your own pace. Most active members budget 3–5 hours per week.

Do I need CLI or coding skills?

No, not in the strict sense. You don’t need to be a developer or know how to write code from scratch. You do need to be willing to copy-paste configuration, run commands in a terminal occasionally, and tolerate some technical friction.

Can I learn this from free YouTube tutorials instead?

Yes, eventually. Simon himself releases a lot of free content on YouTube. The question is whether the structure, community, and tech support of the Academy is worth $37–$647/year compared to stitching together a learning path from scattered free videos. For serious learners, the math almost always favors the Academy.

Will I really get to talk to Simon?

Depends on the tier. The 30-minute 1-on-1 planning call is a VIP-tier benefit only. All paid tiers get access to the community and same-day tech support from his team.

What if Agentic Academy doesn’t work for me?

Standard and Premium are month-to-month — cancel inside Skool any time. VIP is annual. In our interview, Simon went on record about refunds: “You can just get a refund if you don’t like the stuff. We only want you there if it’s actually benefiting and valuing you too.” That’s a stronger founder commitment than most paid communities make publicly.

Which tier is right for me?

For testing the waters — Standard ($37/mo). For building seriously or starting an agency — Premium ($77/mo). For maximum value if you can commit annually — VIP ($647/yr). The included GoHighLevel access alone justifies VIP.

Conclusion — Is Agentic Academy Worth It?

You’ve probably been on the fence — maybe still are. Choosing a program that requires you to actually build systems rather than just consume content is a real decision. It’s not just the money. It’s the time, the focus, the commitment to actually doing the work once you join.

So let me give you the verdict cleanly.

Is Agentic Academy Standard at $37/month worth it? Yes — if you’re a serious learner who wants structure, community, and tech support to accelerate your Claude Code + n8n learning. The community alone is worth the price for anyone who’s been trying to figure this stuff out from YouTube and getting stuck.

Is Agentic Academy Premium at $77/month worth it? Yes — for operators who want to actually deploy the Agentic OS in their business, build their own version of it, or seriously consider launching an AI automation agency. This is the right tier for the largest single group of buyers.

Is Agentic Academy VIP at $647/year worth it? Yes — emphatically — if you can commit annually. The included GoHighLevel access alone ($1,164/year value) covers the entire membership and leaves $517 on the table. The VIP-exclusive workflows, the 1-on-1 with Simon, and the exclusive Claude Code Skills coming next are bonuses on top of an already underpriced package. For anyone serious about building agentic systems, this is the obvious pick.

The 2026 Agentic Academy is a different animal from the version that earned Simon’s earlier reputation on YouTube. It’s structured. It’s deep. And it’s actively shipping new value every week.

Two things from the interview I keep coming back to. First, Simon’s pricing commitment: prices are going up as the community grows, and members who join now lock in their rate for life. That’s not fake urgency. That’s real money on the table for anyone who waits. Second, Ronnie’s story — a smoothie shop owner with zero technical knowledge who’s now selling AI chatbots to other business owners. If Ronnie can do it, the program works on people who shouldn’t, on paper, be the ideal candidates for it.

If none of those tier descriptions match you — Agentic Academy isn’t for you. There’s no shame in that. Go read something else.

But if one of them did — you already know what to do.

The serious operators are already inside building systems. The question isn’t whether agentic automation is going to matter for your business — it already does. The question is whether you’re going to learn to build it now, while the price is still this low and the community is still this small, or in two years when everyone else has caught up.

Stop watching tutorials. Start shipping systems.
