Unless you want to do the math yourself, your eCommerce tool should have automated tax calculation enabled. That goes for both sales tax and VAT, as relevant. The system should calculate and add them to the final price breakdown at checkout. What’s more, the calculation should be adjusted depending on the customer’s jurisdiction.
Once again, data is king, and you need all sorts of it. Your eCommerce tool should be able to provide you with detailed breakdowns on sales, returns, cancellations, rebills, and more. For a subscription-based business, you’d also want the average customer retention rates and your customer lifetime value.

Most membership-based businesses offer many different courses or types of content, each with their own separate membership.
That’s what you should be doing, too, as there is only so much you can achieve with a single-membership site. Think of ways you can split your content into separate courses, such as “30 Day Yoga for Abs Challenge” or “Introduction to Yoga for Complete Beginners.”
In addition to developing different courses, you also want to house them on separate membership sites that can be accessed via a centralized dashboard or portal. To do that, you want a platform builder that has that feature built-in.
